THE newly-formed hair and beauty training centre, WA Academy of Hair and Beauty, was last week preparing for Saturday’s open day to showcase its state-of-the-art facility and courses.

The academy offers a flexible choice of courses and qualifications for budding hairdressers, make-up artists and nail technicians, and those that want additional skills and knowledge.

Located within the Bentley Commercial Centre precinct, Suite 2, 1140 Albany Highway, the premises has specialised facilities, including a make-up studio, nail rooms and theory training rooms.

Courses range from six weeks to 12 months and are available part-time or full-time, and with flexible scheduling on weekday, weekend and evenings.

Course units can also be tailored for apprentice training depending on the specific needs of salons and stylists.

Class sizes are capped to ensure the highest standard of learning.
