FOUR changes to the Wanneroo Business Association board of management were announced at the group’s annual general meeting last Wednesday.
Past president Peter Newbound resigned from the board, along with Jennifer O’Reilly of ANZ Bank, David Lockett of WATAG and treasurer George Okulicz.
Association president Ewan McAlister, vice-president Bill Meredith and secretary Fiona McArthur will all serve a second year in their respective roles.
Tracy Foley of Blueprint interiors will take over the position of treasurer, joining new board members Maggie Catley of Madcat Photography, Geoff Perryman of Ovenclean and Philip Marton of Bankwest.
Chocolate Drops proprietor Sue Dash and Reliance Consulting’s John Royle will both continue as board members for a second year.
Guest speaker at the AGM was one of Australia’s leading business presenters, Brian Greedy, who talked about what makes one business succeed while another goes to the wall.
Mr Greedy has devised his practical “how to” business philosophy from 20 years’ experience in finance, marketing and management.
The next WBA event will be at the City of Wanneroo Cultural Centre on August 18 from 5.30pm. Call 9206 3888 for details.
