OVERLOOKING picturesque Sorrento Quay, this popular restaurant has established its fine reputation using quality local produce.

Their succulent Meat Standards Australia steaks are aged for 28 days and cooked to order, served with summer vegetables and a selection of sauces with fries or jacket potato.

There is also a range of lunchtime specials – a choice of three dishes for $17.95, which includes a glass of house wine or a middy of beer – or check out The Grill’s daily blackboard specials.

Start with a prawn cocktail, using WA-caught prawns and The Grill’s own cocktail sauce, or crispy chicken, marinated in honey and sweet chilli, and served with sweet chilli yoghurt.

A variety of steak, seafood and vegetarian options are available as main courses, including kangaroo fillet, served with roast pumpkin and goat’s cheese tart, or spaghetti calabrese with chorizo, roast capsicum, semi-dried tomato and kalamata olives.

Not looking for a meal? Kick back with The Grill’s $6.95 coffee and cake special – a slice from the cake fridge, served with cream and a cappuccino, latte, flat white or long black.

It’s a family friendly place with a children’s menu and a play table with board games.

The Grill is fully licensed and open every day for lunch (noon-5pm) and dinner (5pm-late), as well as breakfast on Friday (from 9am), Saturday and Sunday (from 8am).

Recently, my wife, sister, brother inlaw and myself had lunch at the grill. we are all seasoned dinners who enjoy good food and service. the service was very timely and well executed by the table staff who seem quite happy to meet your special requests with a smiling face. the entree and main meals were a testiment to the skills of a professional chief, tender steak, moist chicken excellant sauces all done to perfection. the value for money menu is also a welcome change to other over priced medi-oka resturants that we have dined in. i have dined in some of australia's top resturantes over the years who proudly display their gold plate awards on the wall. all i can say is i wished i had enjoyed my meals there as much as i did at the grill. keep up the great work guy's and we will see you again when in town again. i believe they say " you really rock"
